For fashion lovers, New York Fashion Week is our equivalent of the super bowl. Ever since I was young, I dreamed of going and seeing celeberties just roaming the streets, and high end fashion all around. When I was invited this year to the Creator's Loft by College Fashionista & Kate Spade in the summer, I immediately said yes. This loft was a creators sanctuary during the hectic, busy weekend. It included free gifted items and snacks, as well content creation/ meeting new members events and esteemed speakers for panels. It is the perfect way for creators of any size (that are invited) to build a bigger community, and learn from the best of the best on how to create solid content.

When I first arrived at Penn Station, I was elated. I had been picking out my outfits religiously the weeks before, and packing everything under the sun I would possibly need. Most of the events I went to aside from Creators Loft were also based in soho, so that is where I stayed for the weekend. My experience at the Creator's Loft was unlike any other. I was able to make new friends, create tons of content, and relax/ refresh when I was tired of the busy, hot streets of New York. I listened to 3 panels total, and my favorite was one on how to get paid for your content, hosted by panelists from the Influenceher Collective. We were able to ask as many questions as we wanted, and mingle with the panelists and connect with them after they spoke as well. A few other brand events I went to while in the city was a Zara pop up fashion room, as well as the prada paradoxe perfume pop up. Overall, the weekend was amazing, I learned so much more about the fashion world, especially the social media and influencer side. I am so excited to say I was invited back, and I cant wait to go again in February!
